Here we bring you details of sums of money given to the school by the PTA. The 'grants' are the major amounts of money given for a specific project, whilst 'donations' are those given for things like the nursery party and the harvest festival.

During the process of registering as a charity, we have found that the PTA is not generally allowed to sit on funds. Traditionally the PTA seems to have carried £5-7000 over from one year to the next, but we have been made aware that we should aim to spend sums raised in line with our objectives, rather than just bank it against future needs.

Accordingly a 'shopping list' is maintained by the school. The top of the list (in fact at present the whole list) looks like this:

This is in addition to meeting the cost of swimming pool heating, the annual harvest festival loaf, a few other odd donations like food for nursery parties and Stuart's overtime for PTA events.
