Trustees Interests

Since the PTA is now to be a registered charity, Trustees (i.e. the members of the committee) are not allowed to benefit personally in any way from their position on the PTA committee and must declare any personal interest in PTA business. Accordingly the following declarations have been made by trustees:

Trustee
Comment/Declaration
John Walton, Treasurer 1) I own a company which advertised in the summer fete programme in 2001. Neither I nor my company accrued any benefit from the advertisement. The PTA gained £25 from my advertisement.
2) My company provides the PTA with this web site (domain, DNS and web space) at no cost to the PTA but with no benefit to me.
3) In my capacity as a member of the 100 Club I won £25 in December 2001, but I was neither present at, nor involved in the draw.
